How To Wear…A Winter Maxi

A question for the ages:

Rocking a maxi during the chilliest season of the year…

friend or foe?

FRIEND, we say! A friend till the end!

OOOooooh it’s good! Camel, black and leopard! No matter the weather, we just can’t say no to a good black maxi.

Glamazon Blog

Here we’ve got three of our favorite fall/winter trends rolled into one great look – socks wish sandals, flowy maxi skirt and a casually rolled blazer.

Love the berry-red hue of this little getup, made uber cool with a vintage shearling jacket.  Exsoteric.

Sheer and tonal to the t! Kitty Kat Edwards.

We LOVE this look not only because of the fabulously strategic layering, but also because we can achieve this very same ensemble with some of our favorite pieces in store now, including the Helmut Lang Asymmetrical dress, Elizabeth and James fur snood, Dolce Vita camel booties and the Joie ‘Vanity’ moto jacket.

Closet Full of Nothing.

Stripes, camel and semi-sheer maxi. An A+. Wedding Bee.

This is a great way to update a simple black maxi dress (like the super cosy Kain maxi that just arrived in stores at FP last week!). A little splash of color around the waist can go a long way. Liza Jane Sews.

In our humble opinion, a super sleek variation of the moto jacket is the perfect compliment to the winter maxi look. She know it. We know it. White polo shirt guy certainly knows it. Fashionising.

Check out our own trend setting, heavy lifting fancy gal rockin’ her own super hot winter maxi! Talk about multi-tasking!

As per usual,  we’re stocked full of hot’n cool winter maxi options at the FP. So stop on by and get your fix!

  1. Great post, thanks for sharing those pics. 🙂 I have two maxi skirts – a beige/taupe one and a royal blue/indigo one.
Do you think I can still wear the blue one in autumn/winter? If so, how would you wear it?
